Born in 1951 in Poughkeepsie, NY, and now a resident of Sag Harbor, Dan Rizzie is one of this country's most accomplished collage artists. He has had more than fifty solo exhibitions at museums and galleries since 1975. Selected collections include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Dallas Museum of Fine Art and the San Antonio Museum of Art in Texas, and the Scottsdale Museum of Art in Arizona. Individually numbered and hand signed by the artist, this is a limited run item. Only 165 shirts were screened with this design, and only 150 are being offered for sale. Same great Peruvian Pima cotton, soft to the touch with a great casual hang. Cut short. A keeper!
